About Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy is rapidly becoming the first line of defence in helping people to quit addictions. Laser Therapy helps people to quit smoking, drugs, alcohol, gambling and nail biting, as well as to lose weight or control pain, stress and insomnia. Laser Therapy helps clients make positive lifestyle changes quickly and easily.
For more than 20 years, Laser Therapy has proven to be a painless form of treatment that is an alternative to traditional health care. The treatment is highly successful and long lasting. The procedure is external, non-invasive and non-thermal.
During the one-hour procedure, you will be able to relax on a bed while a qualified Laser Technician places a small beam of light on your ears, face and hands. Other areas may be included in the treatment. You will only feel a tingling or pulsating sensation. The low-powered laser light and mild electrical stimulation will release endorphins. These endorphins are the same natural feel-good chemicals that are released every time you exercise or have a good belly laugh.
Laser Therapy and Addictions
People who are addicted to nicotine, drugs and alcohol have lost the ability to produce their own endorphins naturally. Eventually they need more and more of the abusive substance to get the same high. The high from addictive substances only lasts for a few hours. The powerful surge of endorphins from each laser treatment will last up to six weeks. Cravings and withdrawal symptoms can be almost eliminated.
Most people can quit smoking after only a single laser treatment. For other addictions, clients may need a series of treatments, which are gradually reduced according to the client’s progress.
During each session, clients learn positive ways to live without the abusive substance. They are given audio and visual materials to reinforce behaviour modification. They also take antioxidants to help cleanse the abusive substance from the body.
There are three parts to any addiction: physical, psychological and detoxification. Laser Therapy deals with all three parts of the addiction, without drugs or side effects.
Laser Therapy is highly effective. According to a televised documentary, the success rate to quit smoking with the patch, gum and Zyban is between five and 29 per cent. The success rate to quit smoking with Laser Therapy was 86 per cent. Over the following three years, the staff at Laser Centers for Health had made several changes to the smoking cessation program. A survey then conducted in November 2006 revealed that one year after having Laser Therapy, 98 per cent of our clients were still non-smokers.
Our Staff is constantly monitoring and improving all of our programs. Laser Therapy at Laser Centers for Health has a higher success rate than that of any other known methods.
