Sheila Baxter's Bio

Sheila is the sole owner of Laser Centers For Health. As a Registered Nurse, Sheila has had years of experience working on a brain and spinal surgical unit, psychiatry, intermediate care and postoperative recovery room.
In 1989, Sheila received a community award for educating teens and adults about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. She was Vice-Chairperson of the Pidcock Drug and Alcohol Recovery Centre, which promotes the AA/NA program. From there, Sheila's ongoing search for more effective ways to attack drug and alcohol abuse led her to laser therapy.
The beginning of Laser Centers For Health:
In 1998, Sheila asked the Registered Nurses' Association of BC (now the CRNBC) to help her investigate 'laser therapy'. The RNABC was impressed. Sheila was convinced that she had to bring this technology to BC. Having trained in Ontario with Matrix Therapeutic Systems as a Certified Laser Therapist, she opened the very first laser therapy clinic in BC in 1999.
Sheila now owns and operates Laser Centers for Health, which includes two busy laser therapy clinics in Victoria and Nanaimo, BC. Sheila's reputation has brought clients from across Canada and from other countries to quit addictions at Laser Centers for Health.
Sheila and her highly trained staff have a proven success rate in helping people make positive lifestyle changes quickly and easily.
Sheila is also a Certified Matrix Trainer and Clinical Nurse Instructor in Laser Therapy. She trains medical professionals, healthcare providers and others who are seeking a career in laser therapy.
