What is ecstasy?
Ecstasy is also known as: 3, 4, MDMA, E, E-bombs, dex, happy drug, happy pill, hug drug, jellies, love drug, love pill, scooby snacks, X, euphoria, XTC, or adam.
Ecstasy is a synthetic drug made in home-based laboratories, which combine legal store bought drugs to produce ecstasy. Often other drugs are sold as ecstasy, making it impossible to know what you are really getting. Other drugs that are found in tablets and sold as ecstasy are: methamphetamine, caffeine, ephedrine, ketamine, PCP, and even cocaine and heroin. All of these drugs are dangerous and can cause serious damage to your body.
In the past ecstasy was mostly seen at raves or all night parties. However, today ecstasy is seen more in daily life such as at school or work. Ecstasy usually is in tablet or capsule form, can come in powder form, which is snorted, dissolved or injected as well as "liquid candy" and ingested.
Ecstasy can be any color and usually has a design stamped on it such as: a dove, butterfly, clover, hammer and anything else your imagination can think of.
